Arguments Presented in Documentary
These coals power everything, but come with a heavy price.
We believe the director’s argument is that the actions are humans and the earth are
all interconnected and affects everyone. We believe this is the argument because
throughout the documentary, the narrator often showed that our actions have effects
on the earth which ultimately affect us again. For example, the narrator talked about
how are burning of fossil fuels in causing the temperatures to rise, which is causing
the glaciers to melt and fade into thesalt water, which means that we are losing our
pure drinking water. This is obviously one example that proves that that is the
director’s argument but in addition, the director used many appeals in order to make
sure that his argument was understood by all its viewers.Another argument brought
forward throughout the documentary was our ignorance to our actions and the effects
it entails on both biotic and abiotic elements of Earth.
